Niobium particles have the following properties:
1. Physical characteristics:
Appearance: Niobium elemental is a shiny gray metal particle that turns blue when exposed to air and oxygen.
• Density: The relatively high density of about 8.57g/cm³ gives niobium particles an advantage in some applications where material density is required.
• Melting point: Melting point up to 2468 ° C (some data show 2477 ° C), is a high melting point metal, can be stable in high temperature environment, so it can be used in high temperature applications, such as aerospace engines and heat-resistant parts.
• Ductility: High purity niobium metal has high ductility, but as the impurity content increases, the ductility decreases and the texture becomes hard.
