Tantalum crucible has good high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, deformation resistance and other properties, mainly including the following aspects:

1. Chemical experiment and Analysis field:

In the chemical laboratories of universities, scientific research institutions and enterprises, tantalum crucible is often used for high temperature heating, burning, melting and other operations of various chemical substances, which can be used to analyze the composition of some substances and conduct the synthesis and decomposition experiments of substances. For example, when analyzing the metal content in ore, soil and other samples, tantalum crucible may be used to pretreat the samples.

Because tantalum crucible has strong corrosion resistance to most chemical reagents, tantalum crucible is an ideal container choice in the treatment process of some strong corrosive chemicals, such as concentrated acid and strong alkali.

2. Semiconductor and electronics industry:

For example, tantalum crucibles are commonly used containers for smelting refractory metals such as tungsten, molybdenum, niobium, and zirconium and titanium alloys.

In the casting process, tantalum crucible can be used to pour the molten metal liquid into the mold, especially for the production of metal castings with high purity requirements and strict control of impurity content.

4. High-temperature sintering field:

In the high-temperature sintering process in the powder metallurgy industry, the tantalum crucible can be used to place materials such as metal powder or ceramic powder for sintering in the high-temperature furnace to prepare high-performance metal or ceramic materials. For example, tantalum crucibles are used when preparing materials such as carbide carbide and high-temperature ceramics.
